Bangladesh Cards Ltd is setting up a ‘State of Art’ and fully compliance & multiple sectors certified Smart Cards manufacturing facility at Kaliakoir Hi-Tech Park, Gazipur. Primarily, this facility would manufacture ALL kinds of Smart Cards and range of specialised security products for ICT sectors in Bangladesh.

Smart Cards are one of the key components of modern economy those commonly used in many areas in public, corporate, business and private domain. This international standard manufacturing facility would make Information, Communication, Telecommunication, Transportation and Technology related sectors of Bangladesh self-sufficient.

Separately, a modern Security Printing facility with latest technology and advanced security measures would be associated with this Smart Cards manufacturing facility to provide added services to the sectors. Both facilities would house in ‘Platinum LEED’ class-building complex that would certified by US Green Building Council (USGBC).

Bangladesh would no longer depend on importation from overseas for any types of Smart Cards and related products, which would lead to save foreign currencies every year worth hundreds of million US dollar. This investment would be categorise as ‘Import Substitution’ manufacturing operation in Bangladesh with vigor to export.
